These minutes include decisions made at the Annual General Meeting of 26 March and decisions made at the Unit 254 Board meeting of 9 April 2025.

All Unit 254 board members participated in the board meeting, a quorum achieved.  Consiglieri, Ian Irving was also in attendance.

1.  Effective Saturday, 3 May 2025, the following changes will take place.

    A.  The Bridge Studio (TBS) games start time will be 1:00 pm.

    B.  24 boards will be played at TBS games.

    C.  Playing fee will be 150 p. 1500 p paid in adv=1 free play.

2.  Future special games offering increased master point entitlements will continue, since ACBL fees for such are reasonable.

2.  Board member position changes:

    A. Natalia Zapata replaces Mary Seggerman as treasurer.

    B. Jan Brosnahan is Vice President

    C,  Mary Seggerman assumes the “Environmental Tzar” position

3.  The 3rd Thursday of the month (17 April) will not have a special game.

4.  Acquisition of a 3rd air conditioner for TBS is under review.

5.  Outgoing treasurer, Mary Seggermam provided a detailed breakdown of:

    A.  Revenue/expenses for the 1st quarter, 2025 showing a loss.

    B.  Revenue/expenses for SMA Sectional, March 2025 showing a profit of

          400 pesos, after giving 2,000 pesos to Bordello Club for their charity.

6.  Regarding the 2026 Mexican Regional, Ian Irving is liaising with Mexico City Club to see if a Mon-Fri play is preferred over the usual Tues-Sunday play.

7.  Several SMA News outlets are to be approached regarding advertising SMA Bridge games.
